Welcome!

Rooted in the wild beauty of the earth and the mystery of the divine, Leinad invites men into rewilding—of the body, the spirit, and the land. Through barefoot walks, tree climbing, cold water immersion, bushcraft, fasting, prayer, and shared fire, we remember what the modern world forgets: that we are sons of creation, born to serve, protect, and lead with love.

Bushcraft

To be a man of the earth is to remember how to live with it. Through foraging, trapping, firemaking, wild cooking, shelter building, and wild camping, we reclaim the skills our ancestors once knew—not just for survival, but for connection. Bushcraft is both a practical training and a sacred practice: a way to grow in resilience, brotherhood, and communion with the Creator through the raw, untamed world He made.

Immersion in Nature

These practices are crafted to awaken the wildness and nobility within—to restore the rugged resilience woven into us from the beginning. Through barefoot walking, tree climbing, cold water immersion, wild swimming, and natural movement, we remember what it means to be fully alive, fully embodied, fully human—like Adam once walked, unashamed and at home in the garden. This is not fitness. This is a return.

Wilderness fasts

Wilderness Fasts are Christian-oriented vision quests—a return to the ancient way of seeking God through solitude, silence, and the wild. Men step away from the noise of the world to spend time alone in nature, fasting, praying, and caring for a small patch of land. It is a sacred time of listening, wrestling, and awakening—a pilgrimage into the wilderness to meet the Divine, to be tested, and to return changed. Like Christ in the desert, or Moses on the mountain, we go not to escape life—but to find it more fully.

Our relationship with the Earth and other creatures

The Bible contains many passages that affirm the sacredness of creation and humanity’s responsibility to live in respectful harmony with the earth and its creatures. Here are some key scriptures that speak to that theme:

Care for Creation & the Earth

Genesis 2:15

“The Lord God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and take care of it.”

→ Humanity is given the role of steward, not dominator. We’re caretakers of the earth.

Psalm 24:1

“The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it.”

→ The earth belongs to God, not to us—we are entrusted with it.

Leviticus 25:23–24

“The land must not be sold permanently, because the land is mine and you reside in my land as foreigners and strangers. Throughout the land that you hold as a possession, you must provide for the redemption of the land.”

→ Even ownership is temporary; the land must be respected and allowed to recover.

Respect for Animals

Proverbs 12:10

“The righteous care for the needs of their animals, but the kindest acts of the wicked are cruel.”

→ Compassion toward animals is a sign of righteousness.

Job 12:7–10

“But ask the animals, and they will teach you, or the birds in the sky, and they will tell you… In his hand is the life of every creature and the breath of all mankind.”

→ All creatures have wisdom and are part of God’s life-giving spirit.

Genesis 1:24–25

“And God said, ‘Let the land produce living creatures according to their kinds…’ And God saw that it was good.”

→ Every creature is part of God’s intentional, good creation.
